FibroTest-FibroSURE use is now validated in metabolic conditions and is useful for the screening of hepatic fibrosis associated with overweight, diabetes, dyslipidemia. You can read the validation article of FibroTest-FibroSURE in non alcoholic fatty liver disease in free acces (BMC Gastroenterology 2006). 10% of diabetics show advanced liver fibrosis in a prospective screening study using FibroTest-FibroSURE. Abstract is presented in several liver meetings: European congress EASL in Vienna in April 2006, Aerican congres DDW in Los Angeles in May 2006 and it was presented in oral session at the French-speaking days of digestive pathology in Paris (March 2006).
